Roof Re-Treatment & Maintenance Plans in Indian Rocks Beach

A first treatment is a start. A plan keeps watch on the roof afterwards and brings the next treatment in when the shingles show it is time, not before.

How a plan works over the years

  1. First treatment

The roof is treated slope by slope, and we note how each slope looked on the day.

  2. Periodic checks

We come back to test flexibility and granule cover, comparing each slope with the last visit.

  3. A decision each time

You hear whether the roof needs nothing yet, a soft wash, a small fix or re-treatment.

  4. Re-treatment when due

Once the shingles have dried out again, the next treatment goes on with the same care.

Why there is no fixed interval

Two roofs treated in the same week can age at different speeds. A roof open to the Gulf sun all afternoon dries out faster than one shaded by oaks a few streets inland, and one slope of a house can run ahead of the slope opposite. Booking re-treatment by the calendar would mean treating some roofs too soon and others too late.

So the timing comes from the checks. At each visit we look at the same things we looked at the first time and tell you plainly what has changed. Some visits end with nothing to do, and we would rather say that than sell a treatment the roof does not need yet.

Plan questions

Do I need a plan to get re-treatment?

No. You can call whenever you think the roof is due. A plan simply means the checks happen on schedule, so nobody has to remember them.

Can a roof treated by someone else join a plan?

Yes, after an assessment. We need to see the shingles for ourselves before we take on their care.

What happens at a check?

Each slope is looked at for flexibility, granule loss and new damage, along with the gutters and any streaking. Anything that needs work is priced before it is done.

Had the roof treated a while back?

Tell us roughly when, and we will talk through whether a check is due.
